Dr MH Bright Kojo Kewu

Dr Medical Herbalist (MH) Bright Kojo Kewu is a professionally trained medical herbalist with years of in-depth experience in the practice of medical herbalism. He is also a research scientist and works on developing, analysing, promoting, regulating, and enforcing traditional and alternative medicine practices.

In 2014, Dr Kewu served as a teaching assistant to the Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Herbal Medicine, Phytochemistry and Pharmacognosy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Accra, Ghana. From 2015 to 2016, he also worked as a medical herbalist in various departments at the Centre for Plant Medicine Research, including the Departments of Phytochemistry, Pharmacology, Medical Laboratory, Dispensary, and the Manufacturing and Medical consulting units. He served as a medical herbal intern at the Tetequarshie Memorial Hospital at Akwapim, Mampong, Eastern Region, Ghana, in 2016.
Dr Kewu is a regulatory officer with the Ministry of Health Ghana, Traditional Medicine Practice Council.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Herbal Medicine from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology from 2009-2013. He also holds a Certificate in Information Communication Technology (ICT) from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) Achimota, Ghana, in October 2007 and a certificate in Photography and Video Editing from the Ghana Communication Technology University in 2013.
